Where the money actually goes
The honest version, with every cut named. On a $50 donation:
DugoutHQ's 3% service fee is added to the donor's charge — it comes out of what the donor pays, never out of your team's share. Stripe's own processing fee is charged on the full amount collected (the gift plus that service fee), which is why it's a bit more than 2.9% of $50. If the donor opts to cover fees too — on by default, one tap to turn off — your team receives the full $50 and the donor pays the difference.

The fine print, up front
Donations through DugoutHQ are personal gifts to a team, not tax-deductible charitable contributions — most travel teams are not registered charities. If your club sits under a governing charitable organization, you can point corporate and tax-deductible donors there from your page. We don't support raffles, lotteries, or anything else chance-based.
